Youth Groups       

Middle School Youth Group will meet at the Coach House on Sunday afternoons, following the 2nd service (approximately 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.)  We will NOT meet the 1st Sunday of each month. Feel free to hang out and play some fooseball before we eat lunch. We're so excited about everything happening this semester an we'll start off with the series "Image is Everything"

High School Youth Group will meet on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30pm for rel8.

r u in HS?  come 2 rel8 4 a gr8 time! u dont want 2 miss it! rel8 is a relaxing night of fellowship for high schoolers. Each month we meet at a different home, have dinner together and talk about topics that help us relate better to each other and God. We don't meet the first Wednesday of the month so that we can attend Contemporary Worship. For more information  call Andrea at the church (784-4248). 

STEALTH meets once or twice a month to carry out “secret missions” of service to people in our community.

 

Presbyterian Women (PW)
Open to all women in the church. A great time for small group fellowship and study. Circles meet in the morning, afternoons and evenings.

PW COORDINATING TEAM will meet at 9:00 a.m. in the workroom on Thursday, September 10.

Morning Circle meets the 3rd Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Landing Area.  

MORNING Circle will meet Wednesday, October 21st at 9:00 a.m. in the Gathering Area. All women who are interested in fellowship and study are invited to come. The study, "Joshua, A Journey in Faith" will continue. This month's discussion will be on Chapter 2.

Koinonia Circle meets the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Gathering Area.

KOINONIA CIRCLE  will continue our study using the book Bad Girls of the Bible. 

 

Ministry for Mature Members & Friends (3MF)
Luncheon & Lecture Series is held generally on the second Monday of the month in Fellowship Hall. Program at 11:00 a.m., luncheon at 12:00 p.m. Cost for lunch is $5. Topics this year will include: Kimonos and Eagles - a trip to Wabasha, MN, Christmas in Mayowood, a tour of the Mayowood Mansion, Christmas Traditions, Movie and a dinner, Understanding Judaism, Yoga, and more. Join us for fun, learning and fellowship!

On Monday, October 12 we’re boarding the bus and traveling up the river to Wabasha, MN. Our first stop will be at Wind Whisper West, a gallery housing the world's largest collection of Japanese wedding kimonos. Owner Richard Fuller will  share with us the history, the production of and his personal interest in these   colorful and intricately made garments.

Following lunch locally, we'll enjoy a close up visit with our national bird at the National Eagle Center, where an eagle handler will introduce us to one or more of  their resident eagles and familiarize us with this magnificent bird.

The fee for this trip will be posted shortly. Stop by the registration table in the Gathering Area to sign up to go or call the church office (784-4248).

 

Sanctuary Choir
All with a desire to sing are welcome (high school age and up.) Rehearsals are held at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. We lead the congregation in hymns and responses and provide a Ministry of Music for the 10:30 service. 

 
Cherub Singers & Youth Singers
Children are invited to join in singing on Sunday mornings, except the 1st Sunday of each month. Children are invited to participate in these musical activities from 9:00 —9:30 a.m.   The Cherubs are preschoolers -1st graders. Children in grades 2 - 5  participate in the Youth Singers.
 

Upcoming Concerts:

Deanna Lee and Melissa Graff will present "The Debtor and the Trespasser Reunion Concert" at First PResbyterian Church on Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 PM. The concert will feature piano duets arranged by Weekley and Arganbright and composed by Joyce Gill, Edvard Grieg, Felix Mendelssohn and Carl Czerny. Performers will also include members of the adult choirs from Holmen Lutheran Church and First Presbyterian Church and organist Sue Walby. Non-perishable food items and free-will cash donations will be accepted for WAFER and Holmen Lutheran Food Pantry.
