Surf City Here We Come!

All incoming 6th graders through graduating 8th graders are invited to Surf City this summer! We’ll be going to camp July 27—Aug. 1. If you’ve never been, you’ll have to find someone who has, just to hear how awesome it is! Stop by Andrea’s office to check out the pictures from last year.

Surf City has changed locations and is now about 15 minutes up the road from its original camp. It will have all the same activities including Club time, morning Bible study, group seminars, beach games, canoeing, tubing, and wave runners. But, the new camp also has HORSEBACK riding, a ZIP LINE, the BLOB, and a CLIMBING WALL!.

We just have 2 openings left for this summer's trip. Call Andrea (784-4248) if you'd like to be in on the fun!

Summer Youth Work Project

On Sunday, July 13th we're going to be packing up a van and driving down to Cairo, Illinois for a week-long work project. We'll be teaming up with groups from Oklahoma, Minnesota and Illinois. This project is for high school students.

3MF - ***Thursday***, May 15th -

On Thursday, May 15 we’re boarding the bus and traveling to the Fanny Hill Dinner Theater in Eau Claire,  to enjoy dinner and the play Out of Order. This production is a madcap farce that begins with a “rendezvous” that is interrupted by the appearance of a dead body. The fun explodes as the cover-up begins and we find out that the body is anything but dead!

The dinner will include a garden salad, whole wheat bread, ham steak, cheesy potatoes, a vegetable de jour and carrot cake for dessert. The cost for the dinner and performance is $34.95 and bus transportation is $20.00. Registration and fees are due by May 6th. Stop by the registration table in the Gathering Area to sign up to go or call the church office (784-4248).
